Absolutely. Many of our adult students start in our adult group band program, where they play in a supportive setting with others at a similar skill level. As they improve, they can move up to our adult rock band program, where they rehearse and perform live. Our adult guitar program also has a strong community of bassists, providing a fun way to collaborate and grow as a musician.
At FS Music, we make it easy! Our student portal provides access to video recaps, assignment history, and personalized lesson plans. This allows students to review past lessons, track improvements, and stay motivated with clear goals. Having this organized approach helps singers see real progress and continue growing their skills.
Absolutely! Drumming is for all ages, and we offer private lessons and group programs for adults. Many of our adult students join our Rock Band Performance Program, where they take weekly private lessons and full-band rehearsals to prepare for live performances. It depends on your practice and goals. Many students can play simple bass lines within a few weeks, while developing strong technique and confidence can take several months. With consistent private lessons and group band rehearsals, students progress faster and gain real-world playing experience along the way.

At FS Music, our expert techs specialize in guitar adjustments, from fixing string action and intonation to adjusting the neck and optimizing your pickups. A professional setup will make playing your guitar a lot easier, making it more enjoyable to learn on. Bring your guitar in, and we’ll make sure it’s performing at its best!
The Rock Band Program offers much more than just music lessons. It includes weekly private lessons with our experienced instructors, along with weekly band rehearsals to prepare students for live performances. Our students are welcome to visit our facilities anytime during business hours, whether to practice or just hang out. We take organization seriously at FS Music. At the end of each lesson, students receive a video recap to help reinforce what they learned. Additionally, all assignments—both current and past—are stored in our student portal, so students always have access to their lesson history and can track their progress over time.
Yes! We will try our best to pair seniors with others or those in a similar age group, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment where they can grow musically together. We prioritize fostering connections within our strong adult community, so seniors can engage at their own pace and enjoy a great experience.
We do not charge an extra lesson or fee for a 5-week calendar. i.e. For example in August 2021 there are 5 Tuesdays, so (1)3rd

In total, you are charged 4 lessons every month even if there are 5 weeks (5 lessons).
This covers life situations if you can't come in.
We even offer 1 make-up lesson per month if you can come in a different day or time in the same week. (Not a guarantee that a make up lesson would be available).
You would have are (1) 30 min private lesson per week with an instructor of your instrument of choose (this can be a different instrument every week if you or your child are interested in multiple instruments. With an individual exercises and tailored lesson plans to help your journey.
You or your child would also have (1) 45 mins In our Group Rock Band class per week. Designed to learn your instrument by playing songs you love (drums, guitar, bass, and voice) in a managed band, including performing in live shows in venues. Each student gets a private individual lesson during the Group Band session with an instructor then plays exercises that help learn sections of the song then, for the last 15 mins everyone plays their instrument together in the songs we are working on. Songs we choose are songs that interest the students in the band, these songs can be radio hits from Classic Rock, Pop, Pop Rock, and Alternative Rock.
If there is more than 1 member per house hold in the Group Band program, this would qualify for the family deal. Found out more about our family deal by talking to our staff.
This is something we at FS Music very take seriously. When you register for Rock Camp parents/guardians will list these concerns on the forms. Every form is viewed by counselors and instructors. We will also ask every student at camp if there is anything we are not aware of food allergies or medical history.
Guitar/ukulele players: Bring your guitar or uke.
Drummers: Bring your drumsticks/stick bag and metronome.
Piano/ Keyboard: Pianos and keyboards are in store.
Singers: Bring your own mic.
If you don't have any of these items/instruments we will supply them to you during camp hours.
Bring a change of outside wear clothing for outside activities. Clothes must be appropriate.
Sunscreen with a SPF of 30 or higher.
There will be lunch snacks and drinks at camp for each student every day.
If you want to pack your own lunch and bring food and extra drinks you can do so.

You would get 1 private lesson one on one with an instructor per week. Each lesson is tracked and tailored to your goals.
It also includes optional group guitar classes during each week which are:
-Easy play song class
-know your scales and cord progressions
-Open Jam with other learning musicians (Improv).
If you have no experience for the group lessons:
Total beginners are welcomed to these classes! A lot of students are starting off and are in the boat same as you! Making it an perfect community to learn!
A schedule is sent out every month of the optional group classes.
So if you show to all the group classes and your private lesson per week you will have a total of 4 lessons a week!
